The perfect gift for grandparents
I was given a subscription to Naveo to try it out and share with all of you my thoughts. At my thoughts are I love it! It is seriously the perfect gift for a grandparent.
My grandparent’s winter in Arizona so they are gone from October-April every year so we don’t get see them in person for any of those months. They absolutely love when we send paper copies of pictures of my kids to them because even though my grandma actually uses Snapchat and texts (that’s right my NeeNee is hip) she constantly skips the Snaps on accident and she constantly deletes all of her texts on accident losing all the pictures I sent. So getting her a subscription to Neveo where she gets 50 pictures in one place as a paper copy every month is the perfect and I mean PERFECT gift for her.
My grandma NeeNee got her first newsletter this month and she said “it almost made her cry and she couldn’t wait to show her friends. My grandpa couldn’t stop looking at it.”
How does it work?
The way these subscriptions works is you download the app. Create an album with the person’s name and add pictures to it and they do the rest it is that easy!
A couple of notes:
The name of the person you use for the album will appear above every picture and on the front page so I am actually considering using my family’s last name instead so it is more of the label of what is in the picture and newsletter opposed to who the newsletter is for but I am undecided on that.
There is a 50/100 (depends on which subscription you have) picture max for each newsletter and they have to be uploaded by the last day of the month. Each newsletter will be auto-printed after the 1st of each month and once it is printed you can’t change it or get a refund.
They suggest you use horizontal or square pictures which is how I naturally take most of my pictures because I use a DSLR camera but I know a lot of people use phone cameras and take verticle pictures. So just keep that in mind and focus on horizontal shots.
The quality is great it is like a magazine with glossy pages with three pictures on each page. You write a caption for each picture that will be printed next to the picture.
